莎翁轶事：

19世纪后期，莎士比亚的一些作品开始被引入国内。然而Shakespeare这个名字并不是一开始就被译为“莎士比亚”的。

讲求翻译信达雅的严复译为“狭斯丕尔”；康有为称为“昔士比亚”；胡适甚至译作“萧士璧”。直到梁启超将其译为“莎士比亚”，这个名字才开始成为通用译名。
